Talulabell Review ~ Bucket Bags

Hi everyone,

I’ll be giving my honest review on an online shop I found on Facebook named Talulabell Handmade Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). I’ve discovered this page while I was scrolling my cousin’s Facebook timeline. I was always a fan of native products, especially Philippine made since it boosts our Filipino pride. I gladly clicked over their page and saw that they were offering a lot of native products especially bags. The one that got my attention was their new product, which was the Bucket Bags. I find it cute and perfect to wear on a day on the beach. It was exactly what I needed for my summer getaway and so I decided to buy 2 pieces, one for me and one for my cousin since I found the page using her account. I messaged Talulabell through their FB page using my personal account and ordered the Bucket bags from them. In terms of their response rate, I’d give it a 3. It took a while to get a response, I had my response the next day already.

Payments were settled within a week time. Just like any other online shop requires, after payment I sent my proof to them. The one who handled my orders were Maria Joy Olaguera, the said owner of Talulabell. After she confirmed my orders and payment, I was told that the Bucket bags weren’t on hand and it simply means that I have to wait for 2 weeks for the production time. Since my summer vacation is still in the next month, I agreed with her and waited for two weeks. On the second week, I messaged her for an update. As usual, it took another day for a response. Joy told me that they are almost done but she asked for another couple of days to finally finish it. Though a bit disappointed, I had no choice but to wait a bit more. The couple of days she asked became a week, but fortunately, she was able to send it 4 days before my flight for my vacation. I almost lost interest since it took too long but it’s good that they were able to send it still.

The Bucket bags were sent to me via JRS. I was excited to open it; I immediately checked its quality and durability. Honestly, I was so disappointed with the bucket bags. The embroidery on the Bucket bags was untidily done, even how it was weaved. There was a part on the bottom that it was weaved too loose, I could put in my fingers. It could have been acceptable for me if it was only one of the bags I ordered but the damages were in both bags. All in all, I was really not satisfied with the quality and durability of my orders. I had too much expectation since it looked like a legit and trustworthy shop.

I do not recommend this shop to any of you guys. I hope no one would experience this again with this shop. Take mine as an example.

That would be all for today. I hope you learned something. Until next time!

Talulabell Review ~ Empanada Clutch Abaca Jute

Hello there,

For today’s review, I’ll be giving my honest thoughts on this online shop named Talulabell Handmade Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). I had a party a few months ago and the theme was native style. I decided to buy some giveaways from them for that party since I saw that they were selling different kinds of native bags, wallet, and etc. The one that I liked the most as a giveaway was there empanada clutch made from abaca jute. I was glad because they had a variety of colors to choose from, I decided to order in assorted ones. For my transactions, I had messaged them on their Facebook page.

I finished finalizing and paying my orders within a week time. I had my transactions directly with the owner named Joy Olaguera. Since my orders were bulk orders, it was for made to order. Luckily, I decided to order a month and a half before my party. Joy asked me two weeks for production time and of course, I agreed with it. After the weeks passed, I decided to check on my orders since it has been already two weeks. I got Joy’s response the next day, she said that they are almost done; they’re just putting the zippers on. Though a bit delayed than what was promised, I understood since these things are inevitable. I gave them another week to finish all the clutches. After the third week, I messaged her again to ask if the clutches were for shipment. They didn’t respond for a week. I got scared because maybe I was scammed but luckily they sent me the clutches in the fourth week. It took almost a month for it to be shipped, good thing I ordered it way ahead of time because if I hadn’t, I might have been screwed.

The clutches arrived via JRS. I excitedly opened my orders to see what the clutches look like. To be honest, I was really disappointed with their quality. The clutches didn’t look the same as it was on their page. The colors weren’t vibrant, instead they looked a bit washed off, and some of the zippers were already broken. I had to redesign the clutches with beads because it looked too plain since the colors looked washed off. It was a double effort on my part, and of course another additional expense. In all, I was very unsatisfied with my orders.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I hope I could save anyone from making the same mistake as I did.

That’s all for today’s review. Until next time!

Talulabell Review ~ Ella Bag

Hello Guys,

Today I’ll be giving a review on an online shop and their abaca bags that I bought. I found this online shop on Facebook named Talulabell Handmade Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). If you search for handmade crafts on facebook, you’ll see them on top. The page looked presentable and trustworthy and so I thought that they’d be good. While scrolling down their post, I have found some really nice designs of abaca bags. I downloaded the images and sent them a message that I’ll be ordering the bags. They responded to me the next day.

My orders were finalized after a week. I paid my orders through bank deposit since it has no extra charge. I took a picture of my receipt as my proof of payment and sent it to them. Afterwards, they confirmed my orders. I was having my transactions with the owner, Joy Olaguera. She told me that the bags will be for production since it isn’t on hand at the moment. She said they’ll be able to finish the bags within two weeks. It’s a good thing that I wasn’t in a hurry. After two weeks, I asked for an update. She responded the late and her tone was somehow irritated, she said the bags weren’t still done. Though uncomfortable by the tone of her message, I waited for another week. After the third week, I messaged her again but she did not respond. On the fourth week, I still haven’t received the bags. I was already thinking that I have been scammed. I didn’t expect it to happen since they look so legit on their page. I messaged them again and again until they finally responded. They were able to send the bags in the fifth week.

She shipped the abaca bags via JRS. I instantly opened it after I received it so that I could see the quality of the bags. To be honest, I was really disappointed with the bags I ordered. It was messily done, there were also some unfinished stitches on the side. It doesn’t look durable at all as well as it looked like it was done in a rush. Not to mention having to communicate with the Talulabell was really hard. They also don’t take their commitment seriously. All in all, it was a bad experience for me.

I won’t be recommending you this online shop at all. I hope nothing like this happens to you guys.

That’s it for today’s review. I hope you learned something today. See you next time.

Talulabell Review ~ Native Lamps

Hello everyone,

For today, I’ll be telling you a story about my experience when I bought some native lamps online. I have been planning on redecorating my room with some native lamps for a long time and so I looked for good online shops that sell native products. I found this online shop on Facebook named Talulabell Handmade Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). Their page looked reliable and updated and so I decided to continue scrolling down their products. I found some native lamps and I was so glad because I liked their designs and colors. I ordered ten lamps in different colors.  I messaged them on their Facebook page for my orders and I got a response after a day.

I finished finalizing my orders and payment in one week. I paid them through BPI bank transfer because it was easier. I screenshot my proof of payment and sent it to them, after confirming my payment, they confirmed my orders. The owner was Joy Olaguera, she asked me for 2 weeks for production time since the native lamps aren’t on hand. I was in no rush and so I waited for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, I asked for an update. The owner responded the next day, she said the native lamps weren’t done yet because dyeing takes time too. I gave her another week as an extension. After a week passed, I messaged her again. She promised me that she would send it to me after a week. I was growing impatient since I take commitments seriously. I waited for it the next week but I didn’t receive the native lamps. I was worried that I’ve been scammed. She only sent me the native lamps after another week. I was disappointed with them committing and yet breaking that commitment.

She shipped the native lamps through JRS. I opened it after receiving it and to my shock; the native lamps were not even nicely done. The colors were lighter than the images posted. I was expecting so much since it took a lot of time before it was done. It doesn’t look durable too. I was really disappointed with the native lamps. I’ve decided to never buy from Talulabell again. I don’t think I’ll be suggesting it to my friends either.

This has been an awful experience. Just a friendly reminder to everyone, if you are planning to buy native lamps or other native stuff, makes sure to skip this one shop. Save yourself some time and disappointment.

That’s all for today guys. Until next time. Toodles.

Talulabell Review ~ Abaca Picnic Basket

Hello Loves,

Today, I’ll be sharing with you an awful experience that happened when I bought a picnic basket online. I was looking for a picnic basket for a while now because I had plans with my best friends that we’ll go on a picnic. I searched online and luckily I found this online shop on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/), named Talulabell Handmade Crafts. I really liked their bags but most of all I was so glad they offered a picnic basket. Everything looked really nicely done and durable, well that was I thought before. I immediately ordered one; I contacted them through chat on their FB page.

I finalized my order after a week. I paid through BPI. I sent the proof of payment just like any other online transactions, and then they confirmed the payment and orders. Joy Olaguera was the owner of Talulabell, she told me that the picnic basket is made to order, she asked for 2 weeks time for production. I gave her 2 weeks and after that, I asked for an update. She told me that it was still not done because they had a lot of orders piling up. I understood but I kind of felt disappointed because I take commitments seriously. I gave her another week as an extension because I don’t think a single picnic basket would take so much time to make. Another week passed by and then I asked for another update. It’s really hard to receive responses from them on time. She said she’ll send it to me by the next week and so I waited for another week. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive it in time for our picnic. I received it 1 week after.

I received the picnic basket via JRS. I wasn’t excited anymore because the time I needed it already passed. I opened it when it arrived and to my disappointment, the picnic basket looked terrible. There were sides that were untidily done. I don’t even think that the basket is durable at all. The picnic basket was unsatisfactory and I think I just wasted my money on nothing.

I am never buying from Talulabell ever again. I was really upset with what happened to me. Just a friendly reminder, if you want to order baskets like this, you guys better avoid this one shop. Save your money and time, find other shops that are better than this one.

Until my next blog. I hope you all learned something from this blog guys. See you next blog!

Talulabell Review ~ Empanada Wallets

Hello Bag Lovers,

Today, I’ll be sharing with you a terrible experience that happened when I bought some native wallets online. I found this online shop on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/), named Talulabell Handmade Crafts. I really liked their designs and it looked really nicely done and durable. I was planning to buy some wallets as gifts to my friends and luckily I found their cute Empanada wallets. I ordered ten wallets, I contacted them through chat. They take a lot of time to respond.

I finalized my orders after a week. I paid through BPI. I sent the proof of payment and then they confirmed the payment and orders. Joy Olaguera (Owner) told me that the wallets are made to order, she asked for 2 weeks time. I gave her 2 weeks and after that, I asked for an update. It took a while to get a response. When I finally got a response, she told me that it was still not done. She seems pissed that I am asking for an update. She told me that the wallets were still not complete. I gave her another week as an extension because I don’t think those little wallets take so much time to make. Another week passed by and then I asked for another update. I got no response that day, I only got a response after 2 days. She said she’ll send it to me by next week and so I waited for another week.
I was surprised that what she said was true, she sent me the wallets that week. I was excited to open it but to my dismay, the wallets were disappointing. The wallets were untidily done. There were loose threads on the side. The wallets were unsatisfactory. It was not as nice as it looks on the page.

Buying from Talulabell has given trust issues. I was really upset with what happened to me. If you ever plan on buying native products, just avoid this one. It’s for your own good.

Until my next blog. I hope you all learned something from this blog guys. See you next blog!

Talulabell Review ~ Small Sunrise Bag

Hello Bag Collectors,

Another day, another blog! For today, I have a story to tell. I have experienced a traumatizing situation when I bought some native bags from an online store. I have found this online store on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). I was really stunned with the designs of this shop’s native bags and so I ordered two bags from them.  I ordered through their Facebook page. Responses are a bit delayed but it was fine, I’m willing to wait.

I have finished finalizing my orders within a week. I paid them through BPI transfer. After that I sent my screenshot of the payment and my orders has been confirmed, the owner, Joy Olaguera asked for 2 weeks time before it could be shipped because the bags are made to order that is why it needs time to be weaved. I waited for 2 weeks before I asked for an update. I didn’t want to rush them by checking every time because I didn’t want it to affect what they are doing with my orders. It took days to get a reply; she said that the bags were still not done; she said she could ship it the next week. I waited another week before I asked for another update. There was no response and I knew then that the bags weren’t shipped that week. I was already getting impatient because I have been waiting for too long already than expected. I only received the bags the fifth week. That was too long from what she had committed.

She shipped the bags via JRS. I immediately opened the bags after receiving it and to my frustration; the bags that was sent to me was a different color from the ones I ordered. It was untidily done and it looks like it’s not durable at all. I was disappointed with the bags because I really liked the designs. I didn’t message Talulabell anymore for because I had enough of disappointments already.

Buying from Talulabell has left me an awful experience. Just a friendly reminder, before buying anything, make sure that the shop your buying from is legit and trustworthy. I hope this won’t happen to anyone. It’s better to avoid this shop too, for your own good.

Until my next blog. I hope you all learned something from this blog guys. Bye.
